Scrap

Scrap used up one of his nine lives when his family dog pulled him from the jaws of a coyote. Surviving the attack was only the beginning.

The young cat suffered devastating injuries to his rear leg, including fractures, dislocation, and severe infection. As the injury worsened, amputation became the only option to relieve his pain and save his life.

His family exhausted every option they could. They applied for financing, searched for help, and tried to gather funds, but treatment remained out of reach.

Through the Care Beyond Limits Fund, Scrap was approved for life-saving surgery at Companions Animal Hospital. The fund helps pets receive critical veterinary care when financial barriers might otherwise stand in the way.

Today, Scrap has a second chance – and one less leg to kick over glasses of water at 3 a.m. ❤️
