Stella and her owner have already been through quite a year. 

After recently losing their home in the Spokane-area fires, Stella’s owner has been working to rebuild while also facing another challenge: Stella was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor that needed to be surgically removed. 

Thankfully, her diagnostic workup brought some encouraging news. The tumor showed low activity with no evidence of metastasis, giving Stella a good prognosis if it can be completely removed. 

Even while dealing with the loss of his home, Stella’s owner continued doing everything he could to move forward with her care. 

The Care Beyond Limits Fund was able to help with the cost of Stella’s surgery at Indian Trail Animal Hospital, allowing one very good girl and her person to tackle one less obstacle together. 💚
