At just 20 weeks old, Sylis has already found himself dealing with a pretty big problem for such a little pup.

The Toy Poodle came to Companions Animal Hospital with a painful fracture near the top of his left femur. After reviewing his X-rays, an orthopedic surgeon recommended surgery and gave Sylis a good prognosis for getting back to normal puppy life.

The unexpected injury came at an especially difficult time for his owner, who recently lost her job and is just starting a new one. After exploring multiple financing options without enough funding to cover his care, the Care Beyond Limits Fund stepped in to help bridge the gap.

With surgery, Sylis has a great chance to heal, regain his mobility and get back to the very important business of being a puppy.
